BLAUVELT, N.Y. - Saturday was a bright, crisp sunny day, a perfect day for a fall festival.

It was also the day the Domincan Sisters of Blauvelt hosted their 66th annual Autumn Festival, a celebration that started at a hotel in the Bronx in 1950 that has steadily grown into a big affair over the years.

Dominican Sisters, members of the campus ministry at Dominican College, and local officials like Town Judge Pat Loftus were on hand to enjoy the festivities.
