POMONA, N.Y. -- Veteran actress Jordan Baker, who has had roles on the radio station-focused TV programs “NewsRadio” and “Frasier,” is joining “The Morning Show" with Steve Possell starting Monday.
Baker replaces Meredyth Glover, who left to pursue other interests.
Baker began acting in 1989. Her career has included stints on Broadway and on television in “The West Wing,” “The New Adventures of Old Christine,” “Blue Bloods,” “Madam Secretary,” “The Americans” and “The Good Wife.”
Her most recent film project, “5 Flights Up,” starred Diane Keaton and Morgan Freeman. She will also be seen in the soon-to-be-released film, “5 Doctors.”
Baker lives in Tappan with her husband, actor Kevin Kilner.
“We are excited to welcome Jordan to the WRCR family and look forward to hearing her unique insight and observations on 'The Morning Show,'” said Alexander Medakovich, president of Alexander Broadcasting Company, which operates the radio station. “Jordan brings to WRCR her experience of an exciting Hollywood career with the hometown sensibilities that come from living in our listening area here in the lower Hudson Valley. Her give-and-take with radio legend Steve Possell weekday mornings is sure to be a hit with our listeners and advertisers.”
