SUEZ will answer this and other water-related questions at its first-ever Tour Day on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The behind-the-scenes day will give customers an opportunity to learn more about the process of water treatment and distribution in Rockland County. Guests will have the chance to tour SUEZ treatment facilities and walk to the top of the Lake DeForest dam, which supplies water to SUEZ customers across the region. For younger guests, there will also be various family and educational oriented activities, including Touch a Fire Truck and water cycle exercises.

County executive Ed Day and Clarkstown supervisor George Hoehmann will be on-site to participate in the opening ceremonies, which will begin at 10 a.m.

Parking is available on the SUEZ property on Strawtown Road, just north of Old Mill Road. Guests should wear appropriate walking footwear, and the event will be held rain or shine.
