St. Nicholas Visits New City's Historic Jacob Blauvelt House

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- St. Nicholas will be making an appearance at the Jacob Blauvelt House in New City on Dec. 5 and 6, the Historical Society of Rockland County says.

Inspired by the county’s early Dutch colonial heritage, St. Nicholas Day has been a highlight of the holiday season since 1961.

Inspired by the county’s early Dutch colonial heritage, St. Nicholas Day has been a highlight of the holiday season since 1961.

Tickets are $5 per person, for adults and children alike.

The event includes storytelling, a visit with St. Nicholas and his white horse, refreshments, a treat in each child’s shoe, and admission to the society's 40th annual holiday exhibition.

The Jacob Blauvelt House is at 20 Zukor Road, New City..
