NYACK, N.Y. -- The Edward Hopper House will host a reception for artist Lynn Stein and screen the Viviane Silvera film "See Memory."

Stein is the Hopper House's artist of the month. The reception will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 6.

Silvera's film comes from the painting of her series "Film Project: Therapy," which was exhibited in 2014.

The 17-minute stop-motion film explores the tie between memories and both identity and imagination with 15,000 painting stills.

The screening begins at 7 p.m.
