ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Film buffs will want to take time out of their Thanksgiving festivities to view a film or two during when the Nyack Village Theatre presents the winning films of The 2015 Nyack Film Festival over the holiday weekend.

In it's fourth year, the festival draws filmmakers from around the world. This year's winning films and the lineup include:

Friday, Nov. 27:

  • 7:30 p.m. People’s Choice Award – “Not Another Bad Horror Flick” by Bridget Machete - 26 minutes
  • 8 p.m. Best Short Feature – “Waterless” by Marc Daniels - 45 minutes and 12 seconds
  • 9 p.m. Best Feature – “Hoboken Tales” by Victoria and Jay Gable - 1 hour 30 minutes

Saturday, Nov. 28:

  • 7:30 p.m. Best Short-Short – “Cosmos of Patterns” by Jeremy Newman - 4:40 minutes
  • 7:40 p.m. Best Short – “John” by Hugh Scully and Deborah Vines - 5:42 minutes
  • 8 p.m. - Best Local Documentary – “This House Matters” by Tina Traster - 5 minutes
  • 8:05 p.m. Best Foreign Film – “Volta” directed by Stella Kyriakopoulos - 11 minutes
  • 8:30 p.m. Best Score – “The Reunion” Directed by Chuck Patterson - 90 minutes
