Library Says Artwork From Piermont Show Are Good Stocking Stuffers

PIERMONT, N.Y. – The Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library will host its annual Gift of Art sale on Sunday, library officials said.

The holiday sale, and gala reception, are set for 3 - 5 p.m.

The library is located at 25 Flywheel Park W., Piermont.

The group show will feature small works by local artists, which, library officials said, would make excellent holiday gifts.

This year’s theme is "Piermont and the Hudson: A Special Gift of Art Show Inspired by the Hudson River School.”

According to the library's website, participating artists include Robert Adzema, John Aiello, Martha Aiello, Rachel Avenia, Sue Barassi, Haile Binns, Deborah Blau, Jessica Bowen, Fred Burrell, Rajesh Dhawan, Heather Leigh Douglas, Celine Ennis, Chris Farrell, Betsy Franco-Feeney, Lois Fisher, Trine Giaever, Lisa Grubb, Jennifer Herman, Isabella Jacob, Gosha Karpowicz, Daniel Kazimierski, Jim Kimak, Karl Knoecklein, Justin Lee, Cecilia Lotse, Paula Madawick, Catherine Wagner Minnery, Grace Mitchell, Tom Nelson, Laurie Peek, Bob Samuels, Sally Savage, Jackie Shatz, Matthew Smith, Rochelle Spooner, Alexis Starke, Terry Straus, Meryl Toan, John VandenOever, Frances Wells.

Many of the items sold will benefit the library.
