The documentary, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, focuses on the important role Camp Shanks and the Piermont Pier played in the defense of our country during World War II.
The film features interviews with local individuals who lived in Piermont at the time.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at Piedmont Village Hall, 478 Piermont Ave. Suggested Donation: $5.
