NEW CITY, N.Y. -- The Historical Society of Rockland County in New City is holding its annual dinner.

on Sunday, March 6, from 5-9 p.m. at The View on the Hudson, 101 Shad Row, Piermont.

The Society will be honoring Marianne Leese, senior historian of the Historical Society of Rockland County, with the Lifetime Service Award; Joseph P. Gordon of Haverstraw with the Community Service Award; and David Lipman of Spring Valley with the Living Landmark Award. 

There will be a cocktail hour, musical entertainment, award presentations and dancing. An array of items will be available at a silent auction. 

Tickets are $100-$200. Prepaid reservations are strongly recommended. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the operating fund of the Historical Society of Rockland County.
