ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- The president and chairman of the California-based Industrial Realty Group, the new owners of 200 acres of the Pfizer campus, offered a glimpse into their plans for the property on Tuesday, Dec. 1, according to lohud.com.

According to Stuart Lichter, president of IRG, interest in project has already come from local and regional companies, for such uses as research and development, office space, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing, said lohud.com.

And while Pfizer will continue to operate on part of the campus, Lichter offered the following ideas and plans for the property, reported lohud.com:

Lichter envisions using vacant land facing Middletown Road to create a mix of residential, retail, office space, coffee shops, restaurants, a medical facility and a hotel that would attract millennials to live and work at the campus. This, in turn, would attract businesses to locate there, added lohud.com.
