The Rockland Business Association's Professional Marketing Council is hosting its third educational seminar: "Unleash the Revenue Powerhouses: Sales and Marketing" with the goal of helping businesses and not for profits get the most out of their sales and marketing efforts.

The seminar is being held at the Salvation Army's Crestview Conference Center at 440 West Nyack Road in West Nyack on Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The panel will discuss issues like the differences and commonalities of sales and marketing, strategies for successful social media in sales and marketing and tips to help demystify the sales process.

“If any business is going to thrive in the 21st century, it's vital to have a clear understanding of how sales and marketing can work effectively together," said Ann Byne, principal of the Byne Group and head of the RBA's Professional Marketing Council.

The presentation will be followed by a Q-n-A session with the panel and members of the RBA’s Professional Marketing Council. The cost of the event is $25 for members, $20 for students and $40 for non-members.
